Dr. Torres participated in a Fifth Pathway Program facilitated by New York Medical College, affording him rotations through esteemed medical institutions such as Pascack Valley Hospital in Westwood, NJ, Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, Saint Rachael’s Hospital in New Haven, CT, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL, University Hospital in Louisville, KY, and Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Following these rotations, he completed a year-long internship at Hospital Auxilio Mutuo in Puerto Rico and, subsequently, a transitional year Residency Program through the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.
